Job summary

United Infrastructure Ltd is seeking a Senior Structural Engineer to join the OHL and substation structures team. You will support EPC delivery for major UK networks and lead structural design through a multi-disciplinary project environment.

Strong experience in OHL structures or transferable related fields is essential, with progression toward Chartered status supported by the company. A UK driving licence is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Structural, Civil, or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience with slender, guyed, or dynamically-loaded structures (lattice towers, masts, poles or similar).
• Working knowledge of structural steel design (BS EN 1993) and foundation design for overturning and lateral loads.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design of lattice towers, wood/steel poles under supervision.
• Produce and check calculations, reports and drawings for OHL structures.
• Design and check substation gantries, busbar supports and plant steelwork.
