Job summary

METLEN Energy & Metals is seeking a Senior Site Engineer – Civil to support our M Renewables Division across the United Kingdom. You will lead civil construction activities for large-scale Solar PV and BESS projects, ensuring technical excellence and site safety.

You will supervise earthworks, drainage, foundations, concrete works, and coordinate with electrical, mechanical, and commissioning teams while maintaining meticulous site records and QA/QC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of civil site engineering or construction experience.
• Experience as Senior Site Engineer or Lead Site Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of earthworks, drainage, foundations and concrete works.
• RAMS, HSE requirements and QA/QC experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil construction activities including earthworks, drainage and foundations.
• Provide technical oversight of subcontractor works and QA/QC processes.
• Review civil drawings, surveys and method statements.
• Coordinate interfaces with electrical, mechanical and commissioning teams.
• Maintain site records, progress reports and as-built documentation.
• Ensure compliance with HSE, RAMS and temporary works.
