Cowi in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Civil Infrastructure Engineer to lead multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across highways, rail, water, energy and development infrastructure.

You will provide technical leadership, coordinate with specialists, mentor junior engineers and ensure designs meet standards from concept through construction. This role offers hybrid working from UK offices and opportunities toward Chartership, with exposure to major UK infrastructure programmes.

Competenze

• Degree in civil engineering (or equivalent).
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or Incorporated Engineer (IEng) or working towards professional qualification.
• Strong technical background in at least one infrastructure discipline (highways, drainage, utilities, development infrastructure or power distribution).
• Experience coordinating designs across multiple disciplines to achieve integrated outcomes.
• Experience using Civil 3D, InfoDrainage, MicroDrainage or equivalent tools.
• Experience delivering UK infrastructure projects across highways, rail, water, energy, utilities or development infrastructure.
• Understanding of CDM Regulations and design risk assessment processes.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring engineers and technicians.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• Hold a full UK driving licence.

Mansioni

• Lead the delivery of infrastructure design packages across highways, rail, drainage, utilities and related disciplines.
• Act as technical lead within your discipline while coordinating with other engineering teams.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specifications and design reports.
• Coordinate interfaces, identify risks and opportunities for project success.
• Build strong client and stakeholder relationships and act as a trusted adviser.
• Support project managers with programme, resources and commercial objectives.
• Undertake site visits and provide construction-phase support as required.
• Apply CDM and conduct design risk assessments.
• Mentor junior engineers and technicians through guidance and reviews.
• Contribute to technical standards and digital delivery improvements.
