Job summary

AECOM is seeking an experienced Senior Civil Engineer in the UK to lead and contribute to the delivery of infrastructure projects, ranging from drainage and highways to defence schemes and data centre support. Qualifications

• Significant experience in UK development-led infrastructure engineering.
• Strong capability in the design of highways, access roads and infrastructure for development projects.
• Good understanding of relevant standards and guidance.
• Experience of road design using 3D modelling packages such as Civil 3D.
• Experience of drainage design including piped systems and SuDS with InfoDrainage.
• Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Chartered/ Incorporated Engineer status or nearing that level.

Responsibilities

• Provide commercial and technical leadership to teams of engineers and technicians, programming workloads and delivering projects to time, budget, and quality.
• Lead, review, and approve civil engineering infrastructure designs and specifications, developing buildable solutions for site development, earthworks, drainage, pavements, highways/access, and utilities.
• Undertake project management responsibilities across a portfolio of schemes.
• Support business development activities within the unit, helping to develop client relationships and secure new work.
• Coordinate with other engineers and specialists across the UK and our global business.
