Job summary

Cowi is seeking a Civil Infrastructure Engineer to support multidisciplinary infrastructure projects across the UK, with work across highways, rail, water and energy sectors. Qualifications

• Requires degree in civil engineering and working towards chartered status (CEng/IEng or equivalent).
• Experience in at least one infrastructure discipline (highways, drainage, utilities, development, or power).
• Experience with industry-standard design/modelling software and CDM Regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop infrastructure designs across highways, rail, drainage, utilities and related civil disciplines from concept to detailed design.
• Prepare and review calculations, drawings, specs and design reports with high quality standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, technicians and other disciplines to deliver integrated and buildable solutions.
• Engage with clients, authorities, contractors and statutory undertakers as needed.
• Support project managers with programme, resources and commercial objectives.
• Undertake site visits and provide construction-phase support; apply design risk assessments.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers and technicians through guidance and review.
• Contribute to improving technical standards and digital delivery within the team.
