Our client, a respected engineering consultancy, is seeking a highly capable Senior Civil Engineer to spearhead urban development projects in Randburg, Gauteng . This role involves leading the design and implementation of infrastructure critical to urban growth, including roads, stormwater management, water reticulation, and sewer systems. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills, a deep understanding of urban planning principles, and a proven track record in delivering complex infrastructure solutions. You will be instrumental in liaising with municipal authorities, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution. Key Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization, design, and execution of civil engineering components for urban development projects.

Requirements

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) registration with ECSA is required.
• Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in civil engineering, with a significant focus on urban development and infrastructure.
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex infrastructure projects within the Gauteng region is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in civil engineering design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Civil Designer, WaterGEMS, SewerGEMS).
• Strong understanding of urban planning principles, land development processes, and relevant legislation.
• Excellent project management, leadership, and communication skills.
• Ability to effectively manage client relationships and stakeholder expectations.
