Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering.
• Pr Eng registration with ECSA is required.
• Minimum of 8 years in civil engineering, urban development focus.
• Experience managing infrastructure projects in Gauteng desirable.
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, WaterGEMS and SewerGEMS.
• Strong knowledge of urban planning, land development and regulations.
• Excellent project management, leadership and communication.
• Experience in contract administration and construction supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead conceptualization, design and execution of civil components for urban projects.
• Manage design of roads, intersections, earthworks, stormwater and water/sewer networks.
• Conduct site investigations, feasibility studies and impact assessments.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, cost estimates and tender documents.
• Oversee project teams and ensure quality and schedules.
• Liaise with municipal planning departments and utilities.
• Manage budgets, timelines and resources to ensure completion.
• Ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
• Provide mentorship to junior staff and conduct site supervision.
• Coordinate construction supervision support as needed.
