Qualifications

• BEng or BSc in Civil Engineering from a reputable institution.
• Professional registration with ECSA as a Professional Engineer (Pr Eng) is essential.
• 8-12 years of progressive civil infrastructure design and project management experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of civil infrastructure projects including roads, earthworks, drainage, and water/sanitation systems.
• Manage project execution: planning, scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation.
• Conduct feasibility studies, site assessments, and impact analyses.
• Prepare detailed engineering designs, drawings, specifications, and tender documents.
• Oversee construction activities ensuring compliance with design standards, quality, and safety regulations.
• Liaise with clients, government authorities, and stakeholders.
• Review and approve engineering calculations and designs by team members.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and technicians.
• Manage project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
• Ensure adherence to environmental regulations and sustainability principles.
