Job summary

AtkinsRéalis is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our Civils and Bridges team within the Transportation business in London. Lead design, assessment and maintenance across rail and non-rail sectors, collaborating with national/international design teams to deliver robust solutions.

You will mentor junior engineers, manage scopes, budgets and schedules, and contribute to bids and client relationships while upholding safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• CEng/IEng with ICE/IStructE or working towards chartership.
• Strong rail sector experience preferred.
• Experience with Network Rail CRE is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, assessment and maintenance of civil/structural projects.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design deliverables and checks.
• Mentor junior engineers and review technical outputs.
• Support bids, budgeting, schedules and client relationships.
