AtkinsRéalis is looking for a Senior Civil Engineer to lead Civil & Structural design across rail and wider infra projects in the UK. You will shape designs, oversee multi-disciplinary work, and mentor junior staff, while ensuring safety and quality standards across the programme.

You will bring Chartered or working towards chartership, plus strong client liaison skills and a track record in delivering complex projects to time and budget.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status (CEng/IEng) with ICE, IStructE or equivalent, or working towards chartership.
• Experience in structural inspection, design, assessment and maintenance, ideally within rail but across wider infra.
• Familiarity with Eurocodes, Network Rail and DMRB standards.
• Desirable CRE experience or readiness to undertake CRE responsibilities.

Responsabilités

• Lead design, assessment and maintenance of Civil & Structural projects across multi-disciplinary teams.
• Develop scopes, manage budgets, programme and deliverables.
• Apply analytical judgement to select optimal engineering solutions.
• Lead and oversee multi-disciplinary design packages with Civils/Structural bias.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and specifications.
• Coordinate multi-disciplinary design deliverables and ensure CDM compliance.
• Support Project Managers in design and commercial aspects of projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and address design issues with clients.
