Job summary

VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Engineer to lead project delivery on a long-term framework in Helensburgh, Scotland. You will mentor engineers, drive safety and quality, and manage RAMS, ITPs and technical queries.

The role requires UK nationals with eligibility for security clearance, and involves on-site leadership across civil works with subcontractors and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in a Senior Engineer role within civil engineering, infrastructure or construction.
• Strong understanding of construction methodologies and engineering best practice.
• Experience producing and managing RAMS, ITPs and quality documentation.
• Knowledge of temporary works, quality systems and site engineering controls.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate engineering activities on site.
• Mentor and develop engineers within your team.
• Produce and manage RAMS, Temporary Works Briefs, ITPs, NCRs, Technical Queries and progress updates.
• Support the management of the supply chain, ensuring effective coordination and performance.
• Ensure high standards of workmanship and documentation.
