VolkerStevin, part of VolkerWessels UK, is seeking a Senior Quantity Surveyor to manage commercial and contractual matters on a site-based project in Glasgow with occasional travel to Helensburgh. The role reports to a Managing Quantity Surveyor or Commercial Manager and involves leading surveyors, valuing works, and ensuring timely subcontract payments.

The ideal candidate will have a Quantity Surveying degree, RICS/CIOB/ICES accreditation, and British nationality for security clearance.

Qualifications

• Adequate experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• A degree in Quantity Surveying and relevant experience obtained.
• An accredited course by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors, the CIOB or the ICES.
• Candidates must be British National due to security requirements; security clearance is a pre-requisite.

Responsabilités

• Review tender conditions and advise on risk and scope areas.
• Review sub-contract packages for incorporation into main tender.
• Ensure monthly valuations are produced on time and commercial reports completed.
• Manage subcontract payments based on accurate valuation and timely payment.
• Lead commercial elements and manage programme awareness on site.
