Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd. is seeking a Senior Civil Engineer in Bedford to lead civil infrastructure projects within a multidisciplinary consultancy. The role combines hands-on design, team leadership and client liaison, with scope for progression into wider leadership or senior management.

The successful candidate will oversee highways, drainage and SuDS, coordinate multidisciplinary teams and contribute to bids and proposals. Chartered status and UK consultancy experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified; Chartered status preferred (CEng or equivalent).
• Strong UK consultancy experience in civil infrastructure.
• Excellent communication, commercial awareness and leadership能力.

Responsibilities

• Lead civil engineering commissions including highways, drainage, SuDS and flood risk.
• Mentor engineers and review technical designs.
• Support bids and fee proposals and coordinate multidisciplinary teams.
• Liaise with clients, contractors and approving authorities; develop client relationships.
