Job summary

Conrad Consulting Ltd in London is seeking an experienced Associate Civil Engineer to lead our Development Infrastructure team. The role focuses on delivering roads, drainage, earthworks and utilities for diverse developments while mentoring junior staff.

You will work with clients and authorities to ensure projects meet technical and commercial standards, apply UK design standards, and drive delivery across regeneration, residential, healthcare and mixed-use schemes.

Qualifications

At least 8 years’ experience in development infrastructure design.
Experience leading infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
Strong background in flood risk assessments, SuDS, highways and drainage strategies.
Experience with planning approvals such as S38 and S278.
UK design standards knowledge; proficiency with Civil 3D/AutoCAD/Drainage tools advantageous.

Responsibilities

Lead multidisciplinary infrastructure projects from concept to completion.
Manage project teams and mentor engineers.
Collaborate with clients, Local Authorities and stakeholders to ensure high technical and commercial standards.
Develop client relationships and drive project delivery.
Ensure compliance with UK design standards and planning requirements.
