Job summary

Mott MacDonald seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to join the Buildings Unit, delivering building-related civil works across the UK and Europe. You will blend technical delivery with project management, mentoring junior engineers, and supporting bids.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and Chartered status with relevant experience, plus proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D or InfoDrainage.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering is required.
• Chartered Engineer (CEng) or IEng with relevant experience.
• Experience in design of building-related civil engineering projects.
• Experience coordinating project delivery, including programme, budget, and resources.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design, and delivery of building-related civil works across the UK and Europe.
• Deliver projects in line with quality, programme, and financial requirements.
• Promote and ensure adherence to health and safety policies and procedures.
• Support on project management responsibilities from bid stage through to completion.
• Support business development activities and client engagement.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to junior engineers and graduates.
