Job summary

Mott MacDonald is seeking a Civil Engineer to join the Buildings Unit for UK and Europe projects. You will assist with planning, design and delivery of building-related civil works, including drainage and external works, in a collaborative team environment.

The role focuses on technical delivery with potential involvement in project management and client engagement, fostering professional development toward Chartered status within a hybrid working setting.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
• Progressing toward Chartered/Incorporated Engineer with ongoing development
• Experience in design of building-related civil works (site development, drainage, utilities)
• Experience supporting project delivery, planning, budgets and resources
• Experience in multidisciplinary project teams and local authority standards
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, InfoDrainage
• Strong communication and client engagement skills

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, design, and delivery of building-related civil engineering works
• Promote health and safety policies in all aspects of work
• Support project delivery to meet quality, programme, and budget targets
• Assist on project management tasks with guidance from senior team members
• Contribute to proposals and business development activities
