Job summary

Stantec is seeking an Experienced Civil Engineer to join our Cardiff-based team. You will deliver civil design packages from concept to construction, coordinating with design teams and attending project meetings.

Your role includes drainage, levels, and external works design with SAB compliance, and supporting quality assurance. As you grow, you will take on more project coordination and client interaction, helping deliver diverse development projects and developing the team’s capability.

Qualifications

• Degree qualified in Civil Engineering (BEng/MEng or equivalent).
• Chartered or Incorporated Engineer with ICE or working toward chartership.
• Experience in civil engineering design for building developments.
• Good understanding of SAB legislation and exposure to the SAB process.
• Experience supporting drainage, levels, and highways/external works design.

Responsibilities

• Deliver civil engineering projects from concept through to construction.
• Coordinate design solutions with multidisciplinary teams and attend project meetings.
• Develop drainage, levels, and external works design packages.
• Ensure SAB compliance and support quality assurance across projects.
• Progress toward increased project delivery responsibility and client interaction.
