Overview

Senior Civil Engineer - Water Infrastructure – Location: Manchester or Leeds, UK (Hybrid Working). 12 months contract minimum, 5 days weekly, Hybrid.

About the Role

As a Senior Civil Engineer, you'll play a key part in the planning, design, and delivery of complex water sector projects. You'll work alongside multidisciplinary teams, mentor junior engineers, and help create resilient water systems that benefit communities and the environment.

Responsibilities
  • Lead and contribute to the design and implementation of water and wastewater treatment projects
  • Conduct feasibility studies, technical assessments, and data analysis
  • Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
  • Collaborate with clients, contractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project outcomes
  • Support project management activities, including planning, budgeting, and reporting
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement in engineering processes
Qualifications
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
