Job summary

DO & CO is seeking an experienced Senior Chef de Partie to join our production kitchen near Heathrow Airport. You will lead a section, oversee high-volume meal preparation for luxury airline clients, and support the Sous Chef in delivering consistently high standards.

The ideal candidate has 4+ years in a professional kitchen, strong culinary skills, and a background in supervising junior staff while maintaining food safety and quality.

Qualifications

• 4+ years in a professional, high-volume kitchen.
• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or Senior Chef de Partie.
• Experience supervising or training junior kitchen staff.
• Culinary qualification or equivalent professional experience.
• Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, ingredients, and food preparation.
• Good understanding of food safety, HACCP, and hygiene standards.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Run day-to-day operations of an assigned kitchen section.
• Prepare, cook, and present high-quality food according to recipes and production requirements.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, portion size and presentation.
• Supervise, train, and support junior kitchen staff.
• Meet production deadlines and monitor stock, portion, and cost control.
• Maintain HACCP standards and a clean, safe working environment.
• Assist with new recipes, menus, and production processes.
