Gaucho are looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Chef de Partie to join one of our London restaurants! You will need to be experienced in working as a Senior Chef de Partie in a fresh food kitchen, and be extremely passionate about food. Our Senior Chef de Partie will have experience managing a section and working as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment. They must be able to deliver dishes following a spec, and have a genuine passion for cooking.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Chef de Partie:
  1. Possess strong operational and leadership skills regarding knowledge and operation.
  2. Manage dealings with suppliers and commercial partners regarding kitchen operations, as set and agreed by the Head Chef & Senior Sous Chef.
  3. Check all inbound food deliveries to ensure consistency and quality.
  4. Maintain strict kitchen structure and develop junior chefs and kitchen porters as set by the Sous Chefs.
  5. Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chefs with specials planning, costing, daily GP% financial sheets, payroll, and all kitchen operations.
  6. Ensure all health and safety practices are followed, and participate in stock and portion control.
Requirements for Gaucho Senior Chef de Partie:
  • Experience working in a high-pressure kitchen environment.
  • Passion for fresh produce.
  • Ability to run a section and manage a small team.
  • Organized and effective communication skills.
