Gaucho is looking for an experienced and passionate Senior Chef de Partie to join one of our London restaurants!

You should have experience working as a Senior Chef de Partie in a fresh food kitchen and be passionate about food. The role involves managing a section and working as part of a busy team in a fast-paced environment. Delivering dishes according to specifications and demonstrating a genuine passion for cooking are essential.

Key responsibilities of the Senior Chef de Partie

1. Possess strong operational and leadership skills related to knowledge and operation.
2. Handle dealings with suppliers and commercial partners regarding kitchen operations, as set and approved by the Head Chef & Senior Sous Chef.
3. Check all inbound food deliveries to ensure consistency and quality.
4. Maintain strict kitchen structure and contribute to the development of junior chefs and kitchen porters, as directed by the Sous Chefs.
5. Assist the Head Chef and Sous Chefs with menu planning, costing, daily GP% financial sheets, payroll, and overall kitchen operations.
6. Ensure all health and safety practices are followed; participate in stock and portion control.
