Here at Peak, we are seeking a dynamic Senior Centre Manager for our vibrant outdoor centre in Trafford, Manchester. In this role, you will champion safety, quality, and innovative customer experiences while delivering exceptional outdoor education and adventure. The position primarily involves weekday work (with occasional weekends) and offers opportunities for trips into the Peak District, North Wales, and the Lakes.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Safety First: Champion and enforce strict safety protocols for the centre, ensuring all activities meet or exceed safety standards.
2. Quality Assurance & Customer Service: Oversee the delivery of high-quality services, ensuring all aspects meet company standards.
3. Budget & Financial Oversight: Ensure the centre operates within its budget while identifying opportunities for cost savings.
4. Staff Management: Provide direct management to centre managers and onsite team members.
5. Training & Development: Oversee staff training and activity sign-offs.
6. Product & Business Growth: Drive initiatives supporting continuous improvement and innovation.
7. Strategic Recruitment & Collaboration: Work with HR to recruit top talent aligned with centre and business objectives.
8. Cross-Business Support: Support wider business operations, ensuring consistency in operational excellence.
9. Safety & Regulatory Compliance: Maintain necessary accreditations and licenses, aligning with industry standards and policies.

What We Are Looking For:

• Experience in outdoor centres or outdoor education at a senior level (e.g., Senior Instructor, Deputy Manager/Manager).
• Minimum 5 years of practical outdoor activity delivery experience.
• Qualifications and experience in various outdoor adventure sports.
• Full UK driving license.
• Passion and commitment.
• High-level customer service and professional presentation.
