An established charity is seeking a passionate Centre Manager to lead the Spear programme in Ipswich. This role involves overseeing all aspects of programme delivery, ensuring targets are met, and providing leadership to a dedicated team. The successful candidate will embody the values of social justice and community transformation, working closely with local church partners to empower young people facing barriers to employment. We are delighted to be working with Resurgo Trust, a Christian charity, partnering with River Church to deliver the award-winning Spear programme in Ipswich. As one of 17 UK centres, Spear Ipswich works with 16-24-year-olds facing barriers to employment, equipping them with skills and a mindset to find work and thrive.
They are now seeking a Centre Manager to oversee all aspects of programme coordination and delivery, ensuring targets are met, reporting to Resurgo and the church, and providing effective leadership to the Assistant Coaches.
All Spear coaches work face-to-face with young people, investing in their lives, and receive regular group training, joining a network of like-minded coaches committed to making a radical impact. You will work with and be supported by River Church locally and a Church Partnerships Manager from Resurgo to ensure the success of the Spear centre, its team, and young people, fulfilling their shared mission in Ipswich.

You should be an active Christian, able to embody the values of Resurgo and River Church, with a commitment to spiritual growth and Christian leadership. Due to the employment nature by River Church, and the integration of prayer and worship into daily work, there is a Genuine Occupational Requirement for applicants to be practicing Christians.
