Job summary

Dakota Hotels in Scotland is seeking a Senior Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Team and lead at least two sections during busy services. You will prepare and cook across all menus, including a la carte, room service, breakfast, bar food and events, while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety and teamwork with front‑of‑house staff.

• A minimum of 2 years professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant as a CDP.
• Experience handling fish and meats with confidence.
• Passion for quality food and strong work ethic.
• Team-player mindset with willingness to learn across the kitchen.

Responsibilities

• Be confident in a busy service and run two kitchen sections.
• Prepare and cook dishes per Head Chef specifications for all menus.
• Carry out prep work and maintain excellent knife skills.
• Multi-task and work through busy service times.
• Full clean down of the kitchen and maintain an immaculate environment.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene standards.
• Be willing to learn and support across kitchen areas.
