Job summary

Dakota Newcastle is seeking a skilled Senior Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Team. You will be confident in a busy service and able to run at least two different sections while preparing dishes to the Head Chef's specifications across all menus, including room service, breakfast, bar food, and events.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years' professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant, with the ability to prepare fish and meats.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant.
• Experience preparing fish and meats.
• Passion for quality food and preparation.
• Hardworking and team-oriented.
• Food Safety training preferred; Health & Safety and Allergens training provided.

Responsibilities

• Run at least two sections during a busy service.
• Prepare and cook dishes to Head Chef specifications for all menus.
• Carry out prep work and maintain knife skills.
• Multi-task through busy service times.
• Clean down the kitchen and maintain a spotless work environment.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and front of house teams.
• Adhere to Health & Safety and Food Hygiene legislation.
• Be willing to learn and support across kitchen areas.
