Job summary

Dakota Edinburgh in South Queensferry is seeking a skilled Senior Chef de Partie to join our Kitchen Team. The role offers a permanent, full-time contract with a typical shift pattern from 10am to 10pm, four days out of seven, and a minimum of 37.5 hours per week.

The successful candidate will have at least 2 years of CDP experience in a full-service restaurant, handle fish and meat prep, and demonstrate a passion for quality and teamwork. Health & Safety training is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years professional cooking experience in a full-service restaurant as a CDP.
• Experience preparing fish and meats.
• Support across kitchen areas and maintain hygiene standards.
• Flexible with shift patterns and team player.

Responsibilities

• Run at least two kitchen sections during service.
• Prepare and cook dishes per Head Chef specifications across all menus.
• Carry out prep work and maintain knife skills.
• Maintain a clean, safe kitchen and communicate with kitchen and front-of-house teams.
