Job summary

OCS UK & Ireland is seeking a Security Officer to monitor CCTV, control access, and respond to incidents at our sites. You will maintain security procedures, operate the control room, and work closely with client teams to ensure safety and service quality.

The role requires a front-line SIA/CCTV licence, strong communication, and the ability to work under pressure. A criminal record check is mandatory and training/licensing may be funded where applicable.

Qualifications

• Front line SIA/CCTV Licence is essential.
• First aid at work certificate preferred.
• Experience using hand-held radios is required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• All applicants will undergo a Criminal Records Bureau check.

Responsibilities

• Maintain security and control room protocols.
• Monitor CCTV and manage access control.
• Respond to incidents and liaise with police or agencies.
• Provide first response to intruder alarms and write incident reports.
• Greet guests and ensure a safe, professional environment.
• Carry out patrols and support site operations as required.
