Job summary

London Borough of Waltham Forest is recruiting for a CCTV Operations Centre Manager to lead a fast-paced, technology-driven 24/7 centre. You will manage the service, liaise with Police and partner agencies, and drive strategy, DPIAs, and data handling in compliance with regulations.

The post requires working outside normal hours and a degree-level qualification with SIA registration. You will oversee contracts, budget, and service delivery across borough sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in public space CCTV and acting as SPOC for the authority.
• Ability to manage budgets, resources and contracts effectively.
• Strong stakeholder engagement across internal and external partners.
• Qualified to operate CCTV and compliant with regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the CCTV Operations Centre to meet Council and client requirements.
• Coordinate liaison with Police and external bodies to support operations.
• Develop strategies through needs assessments, performance reviews and cost-benefit analysis.
• Proactively advise on new technologies and data handling in line with legislation.
