Chubb European Group in the United Kingdom seeks a Catastrophe Analytics Manager to lead analytics that support risk management, underwriting, and business strategy across Europe. You will build capabilities, deliver insights, and drive data-driven decision making.

Collaborate with regional teams, oversee model validation, data quality, and regulatory reporting. Strong SQL, Python/R/VBA, and experience with Moody’s RMS/AIR Touchstone are essential.

Qualifications

• 7+ years catastrophe modelling experience with regulatory reporting emphasis.
• Experience with people management and mentoring.
• Strong knowledge of Moody’s RiskLink / Risk Modeller, AIR Touchstone, or both.
• Advanced SQL and ability to code in VBA, R or Python.

Responsabilités

• Lead development and delivery of catastrophe analytics to support risk management, underwriting, and strategic decision-making.
• Collaborate with Regional Catastrophe Risk Manager and Modelling teams to analyse exposures and benchmarks.
• Design, maintain and enhance catastrophe risk scenarios aligned with business needs.
• Develop methodologies for quantifying new risks using analytics and modelling techniques.
• Oversee data quality, analytics processes, and reporting tools to maximise business impact.
• Partner with Actuarial and Risk to provide inputs for internal capital models and portfolio planning.
• Lead the internal Catastrophe and Accumulation Working Group and mentor Catastrophe Analysts.
• Oversee model validation for new catastrophe models or updates and communicate impacts.
• Develop high-quality presentations and communicate findings to senior management.
