Job summary

Gallagher Specialty in London is seeking a senior Catastrophe Modelling professional to lead exposure analytics, deliver RMS and AIR reports, and support multinational clients with data-driven risk insights.

You will co-own the flagship Evolve facility, present analytics to clients and brokers, mentor teams in the UK and India, and drive continuous data quality, process improvement, and SLA adherence across global operations.

Qualifications

• Degree-level qualification in a quantitative discipline.
• Professional qualifications (DIP CII/ACII) or willingness to pursue.
• Experience in catastrophe modelling from insurer or broker.
• Strong data and analytics interest.
• Advanced SQL coding required.
• Experience with RMS Risk Modeler or Risk Link is preferred.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• MS Office, particularly Excel; Power BI experience.
• GIS knowledge (ArcGIS).
• Self-motivated with proactive problem solving.

Responsibilities

• Grow Exposure Analytics and Catastrophe Modelling within Gallagher Specialty.
• Co-own the flagship multiclass facility "Evolve".
• Present analytics to clients and brokers.
• Develop opportunities via client and carrier analytics.
• Perform quality control across policies for data accuracy.
• Rectify errors before delivery to stakeholders.
• Ensure SOPs and data quality standards are met.
• Meet internal/external KPIs and SLAs.
• Develop new initiatives in this fast-growing area.
• Mentor junior staff in the UK and India.
• Manage a team of Catastrophe Analysts in India ensuring SLA adherence.
