Job summary

Emerald Group in London seeks a Senior Catastrophe Risk Analyst to lead catastrophe analytics for client portfolios and advise on risk management. You will interact with reinsurers, brokers and actuaries to explain modelling results and resolve issues promptly, ensuring coverage for complex exposures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of catastrophe analytics experience in insurers, reinsurers or similar.
• Experience with vendor models (Moody’s RMS, Verisk essential) and model validation.
• Experience modelling complex Global accounts is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Leading client portfolios analysis using catastrophe analytics and applying reinsurance structures.
• Leading conversations with reinsurers, brokers and actuaries to explain modelling results.
• Advising clients on incurred losses, post-event and risk management.
• Collaborating with Analytics teams across geographies and participating in practice groups.
