The successful candidate will build client portfolios, own end-to-end charter lifecycle, and lead negotiations with a strong emphasis on profitability and client relationships.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years' proven cargo charter brokerage experience.
• Strong track record of revenue target achievement.
• Experience managing key accounts and high-value contracts.
• Ability to lead by example and influence team performance.

Responsibilities

• Build, manage and grow a portfolio of high-value clients as their trusted adviser.
• Own end-to-end cargo charter lifecycle: aircraft sourcing, pricing, negotiations, operations, follow-up.
• Lead complex, time-critical charters with compliance to safety and regulatory requirements.
• Generate and convert new business opportunities through market knowledge and relationships.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and aircraft availability to maximise profitability.
• Mentor junior brokers and share market knowledge and insights.
• Act as a senior reference for escalations and complex client requirements.
• Collaborate with sales and operations for seamless execution and high service levels.
• Represent the business at client meetings, sales trips and industry events.
• Undertake flight representation duties when required.

Line Up Aviation is recruiting an experienced Senior Cargo Charter Broker to join a growing and forward-thinking aviation business.

This is an excellent opportunity for an established cargo charter professional who can combine strong commercial performance with the ability to lead by example and positively influence the wider team.

The position would suit a broker with approximately three to five years' experience who is confident managing complex and time-critical charters, developing key client relationships and contributing to the development of junior brokers and the wider commercial strategy.

Key Responsibilities

• Build, manage and grow a portfolio of high-value clients, acting as their trusted adviser and primary point of contact.
• Take full ownership of the end-to-end cargo charter lifecycle, including aircraft sourcing, pricing strategy, negotiations, operational coordination and post-flight follow-up.
• Lead and execute complex, time-critical charter movements, ensuring full compliance with relevant safety, regulatory and operational requirements.
• Proactively generate and convert new business opportunities through market knowledge, industry relationships and commercial initiative.
• Monitor market trends, pricing and aircraft availability to maintain a competitive edge and maximise profitability.
• Provide guidance, support and informal mentoring to junior brokers, sharing best practice, market knowledge and commercial insight.
• Act as a senior point of reference within the team for escalations, problem-solving and complex client requirements.
• Work closely with sales and operational colleagues to ensure seamless execution and consistently high service levels.
• Represent the business at client meetings, sales trips and global industry events.
• Undertake flight representative duties and rides where required.

The Successful Candidate

• Three to five years' proven experience within cargo charter brokerage.
• A strong and consistent track record of exceeding revenue targets.
• Experience managing key accounts and negotiating high-value charter contracts.
• Demonstrable ability to lead by example and positively influence team performance and culture.
• Commercially astute, resilient and comfortable working within a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
• Highly organised, with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Flexible and committed, with the ability to work outside standard hours when required.
• Excellent communication skills.
• A second language would be advantageous.
• A full UK driving licence is required.
