Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to lead a team of Care Assistants in a dedicated care home. You will work alongside the Deputy General Manager to deliver person-centred care and support, including involvement in medication, assessments and care plans.

You will uphold dignity and respect for every resident in a warm and vibrant environment. The role offers ongoing training opportunities with clear progression paths into roles such as Care Practitioner or Regional Carer.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or Advanced Diploma.
• Clinical care knowledge for the elderly.
• Ongoing training opportunities to develop your career.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity and respect and foster a warm, welcoming environment.
