Job summary

Barchester Healthcare is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for one of its care homes in the United Kingdom. You will supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, and support the clinical team in medication, assessments, care plans, and care reviews.

You will provide person-centred care, uphold residents' dignity and preferences, and contribute to a warm, welcoming, and vibrant home environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Deliver person-centred care while respecting the dignity and preferences of residents.
