Job summary

Homes2Inspire, part of the Shaw Trust Group, is recruiting for a Senior Service Support Co-ordinator (Care Leavers) in Northampton. The role offers a full-time, permanent contract with 40 hours per week and a salary of £32,743–£34,737 per annum plus benefits.

You will lead staff, manage administrative functions, and ensure safeguarding and wellbeing for young people aged 17–21 in supported accommodation. The service operates 24/7, with shifts and coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum 12 months experience working with children or in a care setting.
• Compassion, patience and a genuine desire to make a difference to the lives of young people.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.
• Honesty, empathy and a commitment to being a positive role model.

Responsibilities

• Provide a full administrative service to support the team.
• Maintain effective work systems and audit-ready documentation.
• Collate, produce and distribute regular statistics and reports.
• Facilitate key sessions with young people to support their pathway/care plan.
• Line manage and supervise staff.
• Provide cover for shifts in the absence of the Service Support Co-ordinator.
• Ensure safeguarding and wellbeing of the young people in care.
• Support young people to gain practical skills and independence.
