Job summary

Barchester Care Home is currently seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our close-knit team in Leeds. You will supervise and inspire a group of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager, ensuring high-quality, person-centred care for our residents.

You will also support the clinical team in areas like medication, assessments and care plans, while upholding respect for residents' dignity and preferences in a warm, welcoming environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 or Advanced Diploma in Health & Social Care is required.
• Knowledge of clinical care for the elderly is essential.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and inspire a team of Care Assistants alongside the Deputy General Manager.
• Support the clinical team in areas such as medication, assessments, care plans or care reviews.
• Ensure residents receive person-centred care and maintain dignity and preferences.
