Care Concern Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Dovedale Court Care Home in Wednesbury. You will lead a care team, oversee medication, and ensure safe, high-quality, person-centred care for residents during night shifts.

You will maintain care records, liaise with families and healthcare professionals, and help drive continuous improvements in daily operations and resident wellbeing.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum). Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.
• Empathy, caring, compassionate and professional approach.

Responsabilités

• Guide and support the care team to deliver high-quality, person-centred care.
• Take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift and ensure care is well organised and safe.
• Oversee medication administration and monitor residents' wellbeing.
• Respond to changes in residents' condition and maintain accurate care records.
• Communicate clearly with families and healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care.

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. Night shifts. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum), with Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards
• Medication administration training with competency is essential
• Experience supporting or leading a care team is beneficial
• Strong communication and leadership skills
• A caring, compassionate and professional approach
