Job summary

Care Concern Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to guide and support the care team in delivering safe, high‑quality, person‑centred care to residents. You will lead shifts, oversee medication administration, monitor wellbeing, and respond to changes to ensure safety and continuity of care.

You will maintain accurate records and collaborate closely with families and healthcare professionals, bringing strong communication and leadership to a compassionate care environment.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care (minimum); Level 3 desirable or willingness to work towards.
• Medication administration training with competency is essential.
• Experience supporting or leading a care team.
• Strong communication and leadership skills.

As Senior Care Assistant, you will guide and support your team in delivering safe, high quality, person centred care that makes a real difference every day to our residents. You will take responsibility for the smooth running of your shift, ensuring care is well organised, consistent and delivered to a high standard. Alongside providing hands on care, you will oversee medication, monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any changes, ensuring care remains safe and appropriate. You will maintain accurate care records and work closely with colleagues, families and healthcare professionals to ensure clear communication and continuity of care.
