EQ Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Team Leader) for night shifts at Cedar Lodge, Whitchurch-on-Thames. Join a 45-bed home providing dementia and nursing care, with a focus on person-centered support and team leadership during night hours.

The role emphasizes leading the care team, building relationships with residents, and ensuring a safe, well-led provision. NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

Responsabilités

• Maintain a professional, welcoming presence for residents and visitors.
• Attend and contribute to team meetings.

Responsibilities and Duties

• To professionally lead the care team at all times to ensure a safe, effective and well lead care provision is maintained.
• Support the people in the home to achieve the outcomes they wish to achieve – through an enabling and supportive approach
• Represent the Cedar Lodge brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
• Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.

Skills, Qualifications and Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Experience within a similar environment desirable
• You need to be flexible, patient, with a ‘can do’ caring attitude, and a real 'people person'
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
