The Maples, operated by EQ Care Group, is seeking a Senior Care Assistant (Team Leader) to oversee a care team on days and nights in Telford. Salary up to £33,519 per annum (pro rata) depending on experience.

The role emphasizes person-centered care, strong supervision, and building relationships with residents and colleagues. You will lead by example, ensure safe, high-quality care, and contribute to a calm, homely environment for residents.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Experience within a similar environment desirable
• Flexible, patient, with a caring attitude and a real 'people person'
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.

Responsibilities and Duties

• To professionally lead the care team at all times to ensure a safe, effective and well lead care provision is maintained.
• Support the people in the home to achieve the outcomes they wish to achieve – through an enabling and supportive approach
• Represent The Maples brand by maintaining a professional and welcoming presence for all team members, residents, and visitors.
• Attend and actively contribute to team meetings.
• Perform any additional duties as assigned by the Home Manager to support the overall functioning of the home.

Skills, Qualifications and Abilities

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Hold NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care
• Experience within a similar environment desirable
• You need to be flexible, patient, with a ‘can do’ caring attitude, and a real 'people person'
• Proficiency in IT, including Microsoft Office and internal applications; with the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated and capable of working independently.
