Agincare is seeking a Bank Night Senior Care Assistant at Sunnymeade care home. You will deliver person-centred care, assist with daily living activities, and support residents while respecting their choices and independence.

The role involves medication administration, care plan reviews, and leading social activities. The position is currently a bank contract with access to funded training up to QCF level 5 and a pension, plus referral incentives.

• Provide personal care including bathing, dressing and oral care.
• Contribute to and carry out care reviews to reflect residents' needs.
• Administer residents' medication safely and in accordance with policy.
• Lead social activities and trips within the home.
• Support new starters and potentially lead the home in the absence of more senior staff.

A day in the life of a Senior Care Assistant (Nights)

• Person-centred care - You will ensure that residents receive personal care from you and your team including bathing, dressing and oral care within their preferences, and actively promote right to choice and independence.
• Review - You will contribute to and carry out care reviews with your residents to ensure their plans reflect their needs.
• Medication - You will administer residents' medication in a safe and supportive and compliant way.
• Social Activity - You will lead in and participate in trips out, social engagements and activities within the home.
• Leadership - you may support new starters or existing staff with shadowing and development, and may be called up on to lead the home where more senior managers are not available.
