Job summary

Holmes Care Group in Aberdeen is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents at Grandholm Bank. You will supervise Care Assistants, support residents with physical, emotional and spiritual needs, and work with nurses and managers to develop staff and care plans.

A current SVQ Level 3 qualification is required, and you will contribute to family communication while participating in day-to-day activities and ensuring well-being through close teamwork

Qualifications

• You must hold a relevant Health and Social qualification and have experience in Care.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
• Ability to work as part of a team to deliver person-centred care.

Responsibilities

• Providing excellent care and support to residents
• Supervising and motivating all Care Assistants
• Assisting residents with physical, emotional and spiritual needs
• Supporting families and communicating with relatives
• Collaborating with trained Nurses and Unit Managers
• Engaging residents in daily activities and companionship
• Maintaining effective communication with team members and reporting wellbeing to GP and managers
