Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to join our expanding team in Scotland. You will provide compassionate, person-centred care to residents and support the care team to deliver excellent service within a busy care home environment.

You will need a relevant Health and Social qualification (SVQ Level 3) and experience in the care industry. The role emphasizes resident wellbeing, teamwork, and strong communication with families and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Health and Social qualification (e.g., SVQ Level 3)
• Experience working in the care industry is required

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, person-centred care to residents
• Supervise and motivate Care Assistants to ensure smooth team operation
• Assist residents with physical, emotional and spiritual needs
• Support families with information and reassurance
• Assist trained nurses and unit managers to lead and develop staff
• Engage residents in day-to-day activities and companionship
• Maintain effective communication with team members and GP/support staff
• Record wellbeing and liaise with relevant managers
