Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant at Almond Court in Glasgow. You will deliver high-quality, person-centred care to residents and support their daily living, under the guidance of Nurses and Unit Managers.

Your role includes supervising Care Assistants, assisting with physical, emotional and spiritual needs, and supporting families. Experience in care and a valid Health & Social qualification are required.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Health and Social qualification.
• Experience working in the Care Industry.
• SVQ Level 3 qualification is essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide great quality, person-centred care to residents.
• Supervise and motivate Care Assistants within the team.
• Assist residents with physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Support and guide family members.
• Collaborate with trained Nurses and Unit Managers to develop staff.
• Engage residents in day-to-day activities and companionship.
• Maintain effective communication with team and GP.
