Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to provide person-centred care to residents in a supportive team. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality care, supervising care staff, and assisting with physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.

Applicants should hold a current SVQ Level 3 and have experience in the care industry. The role includes supporting families and liaising with nurses and managers as part of a dedicated team.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent care and support to residents.
• Supervise and motivate care assistants and work as part of the team.
• Assist residents with physical, emotional and spiritual needs.
• Support and guide family members.
• Assist nurses and unit managers in leading staff development.
• Engage in daily activities and provide companionship.
• Maintain good communication with team members and healthcare professionals.
• Report on residents’ wellbeing and liaise with GP and managers.
