Job summary

Holmes Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant for Craigielea in Scotland. This role is 45 hours per week, daytime shifts, focusing on delivering high-quality, person-centred care to residents and supporting families.

Breakfast, companionship, and a caring, professional approach are essential, with SVQ Level 3 and experience in care required. You will work with a dedicated team to ensure residents’ wellbeing and comfort daily.

Qualifications

• Hold a relevant Health and Social qualification.
• Experience working in the Care Industry.
• Provide excellent care and support to residents.
• Supervising and motivating all Care Assistants.

Responsibilities

• Deliver great quality, person-centred care to all residents.
• Provide support and guidance to family members.
• Supervise and motivate all Care Assistants and function as part of the team.
• Assist residents in all aspects of their care needs (physical, emotional, spiritual).
• Assist trained nurses and unit managers to lead and develop staff.
• Engage in day-to-day activities and provide companionship to residents.
• Maintain good communication with team members and liaise with GP/Managers.
