Job summary

Wood Care Group is seeking a Senior Care Assistant in Doncaster to care for residents across physical, emotional and social needs. You will assist with personal care, meals, and daily activities while taking a lead on shift and supporting medication rounds.

We welcome applicants with or without prior senior experience, as full training is provided and a passion for care is valued. A Level 3 in Health & Social Care is desirable. Flexible shifts and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Level 3 Health & Social Care or equivalent certificate/diploma is desirable but training is provided.
• Experience leading a team is desirable but not essential.
• Flexible to work shifts and reliable.
• Good verbal and written communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Care for residents physical, psychological and social needs.
• Assist with personal care, meals, washing, dressing.
• Lead shift and manage medication rounds.
• Attend staff meetings and support staff development.
• Ensure safeguarding and health & safety policies are followed.
