Greensleeves Care is seeking a Senior Care Assistant to support 24-hour residential, dementia and nursing care across our homes. You will join a respected charity with a commitment to development and a Living Wage employer policy.

You will assist residents with personal care, respond to bells and calls, and coordinate with GPs and nurses to maintain high-quality care. This role requires QCF Level 2 in social care or equivalent and proven medication administration skills.

Competenze

• QCF diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification (Essential)
• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication (Essential)
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality (Essential)
• Experience in providing care (Essential)

Mansioni

• Help ensure the Home runs smoothly with care, domestic and kitchen staff contributing their best to the atmosphere.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone; greet visitors.
• Liaise with GPs, District Nurses, Chiropodists, etc. to meet residents' healthcare needs.

As a Senior Care Assistant (Days and Nights), you will:

• Help to ensure that all care, domestic and kitchen staff contribute to the best of their ability to the efficient running of the Home and the creation of the right atmosphere.
• Assist residents with their personal care needs.
• Answer call bells, emergency bells, the door and the telephone: greet visitors.
• Ensure the healthcare needs of the residents are met by liaising with GPs, District Nurses, Chiropodists, etc.

• Qualifications and Credit Framework (QCF) diploma in social care level 2 or other relevant qualification (Essential)
• Proven ability and experience in safe administration of Medication(Essential)
• An understanding of the importance of confidentiality(Essential)
• Experience in providing care(Essential)
