Job summary

Greensleeves Care is seeking a Care Assistant to provide compassionate support to residents across our homes in England. You will help with dressing, bathing, mobility and personal care while upholding dignity, privacy and residents’ rights.

The role requires an understanding of residents' needs and confidentiality. We offer DBS checks, free learning and development, and a comprehensive benefits package including pension contributions and staff recognition schemes.

Qualifications

• QCF diploma in care level 2 or equivalent (desirable)
• Experience of providing care (desirable)
• Experience of working with elders (desirable)

Responsibilities

• Give support and care to the residents whilst maintaining their rights to independence, privacy, dignity and choice and assist in their daily living.
• Assist residents who require help to dress/undress, wash, and bath and use the toilet.
• Assist residents with mobility problems and other physical disabilities including the use and care of aids and personal equipment.
• Assist residents who need help with personal hygiene e.g. incontinence.
• Promote and adhere to Greensleeves Care workplace values of respect, openness and responsibility.
