Are you a Senior Care Assistant eager to develop your skills? Our team plays a vital role in ensuring residents receive personalized care to lead fulfilling lives.

Pay Rates:

• NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care: £12.81 per hour
• NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care: £13.80 per hour

Shifts: Part-time and full-time options available, from 22 to 44 hours per week.

About the Role

At Orchard Care Homes, we prioritize high-quality, individualized care tailored to each person’s needs. Your responsibilities will include assessing needs, creating person-centered care plans, and ensuring physical, emotional, and medical needs are met. You will also be trained in medication administration to ensure safety and competence.

Previous experience in older adults’ care or dementia care is preferred. A Level 3 qualification is ideal, but Level 2 qualified candidates will be supported to achieve Level 3 through our career pathway.

Main Duties

• Assess, plan, deliver, and evaluate personalized nursing care to meet individual needs and standards.
• Ensure residents are treated with dignity, respect, and their rights to privacy and independence are upheld.
• Lead, support, and develop the care team, demonstrating excellent communication skills and liaising with professionals, residents, and families.
